Install the Extension

Get Vibe running in your browser in under 1 minute.

Supported Browsers​

  • Google Chrome (v114+)
  • Microsoft Edge (v114+)
  • Brave and other Chromium-based browsers

Option 1: Direct Download — Latest Version (Recommended)​

Install the latest release directly from our CDN. Always up to date.

Chrome / Brave / Chromium​

  1. Download vibe-ai-copilot-latest.zip

  2. Open your browser's extensions page:

    • Chrome: chrome://extensions
    • Brave: brave://extensions

  3. Enable Developer mode (toggle in the top right corner)

  4. Drag and drop the downloaded ZIP file onto the extensions page
    (or click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted folder)

  5. Click Add extension when prompted

  6. Pin the extension: click the puzzle piece icon in the toolbar → pin icon next to Vibe

Microsoft Edge​

  1. Download vibe-ai-copilot-latest.zip

  2. Open edge://extensions

  3. Enable Developer mode (toggle in the bottom-left corner)

  4. Click Load unpacked → extract the ZIP and select the extracted folder

  5. Pin the extension: click the puzzle piece icon → pin next to Vibe

Updating​

The direct download version does not auto-update. To update:

  1. Download the latest ZIP from the link above
  2. Go to chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions)
  3. Click the reload icon on the Vibe card

Option 2: Chrome Web Store​

Install from the Chrome Web Store for automatic updates.

note

The Chrome Web Store version may lag behind the direct download by a few days during review cycles. Use Option 1 for the latest features.

  1. Open the Vibe listing
  2. Click Add to Chrome
  3. Click Add extension

Option 3: Microsoft Edge Add-ons​

For Microsoft Edge users - automatic updates included.

  1. Visit Vibe AI Browser Co-Pilot on Microsoft Edge Add-ons
  2. Click Get
  3. Click Add extension when prompted
  4. The Vibe icon will appear in your browser toolbar

Quick Setup After Install​

  1. Click the Vibe icon in the toolbar (or press Ctrl+Shift+V / Cmd+Shift+V)
  2. Sign in or choose a provider:
    • Vibe API (recommended, no API key needed) — sign up at vibebrowser.app
    • Bring your own key — enter openai:gpt-5-mini and your OpenAI API key in Settings

Verify It Works​

Open any website, press Ctrl+Shift+V, and type: Go to google.com

Watch Vibe navigate. You're ready.
